Rainy summer days & mysterious things

It's been a pretty quiet week for me so far and today isn't any different. It's been raining for twelve hours straight and so I'm taking the opportunity of not being able to go outside to think about my life goals.

So as one does in a moment of uncertainty, I consulted my Tarot cards and then I watched a few Pick-a-Card-videos on youtube to know what my future holds. If you're not familiar with this kind of video, you see four to five piles of cards on the screen, you choose one and from that pile, you get a reading. It's still a general reading but so far, every single one I watched has turned out to be accurate. (And for those naysayers who hate on Tarot and the spirit world: I watched the predictions for the other piles I didn't choose as well and they did not fit my situation at all.) And by the way, I just looked what time it is. It's 22:22, an angel number. I've been seeing them regularly for a few weeks now. In a nutshell, this one tells me to focus on the positive and not to worry - a great reminder, since I tend to worry A LOT. And since the universe works in mysterious ways, this number also matches the essence of my tarot reading today, which was to trust my intuition instead of trying to conform to conventions.

And since it's been raining all day, it was the perfect setting to do some soul searching and just relax. I still don't know much more about my goals, but I'm planning on writing things down and maybe I'll share some of them here with you.

As for today, I'm going to do some thinking about my life goals. And to fit the mood and the weather, I'm ending the evening watching A Rainy Day In New York.
